1. DO I NEED MORE THAN ONE ESTIMATE?
No. Repair estimates are very standardized. Most reputable, licensed shops utilize a computerized repair database to produce accurate damage estimates. A large difference between estimates could mean that the lower one is calling for parts other than new factory original or has missed a great deal of damage that will have to be addressed during the repair process. We want you to be fully informed about the parts and procedures we will use to repair your vehicle. We will work closely with your insurer to repair your vehicle quickly, safely and cost-effectively.

Don't be steered, you can choose the shop of your choice. By law, you have the right to choose the repair shop you would like to repair your vehicle. We will work with any reputable insurer to ensure the quick and efficient repair of your vehicle and processing of your claim.

2. HOW DO I KNOW IF MY VEHICLE IS A TOTAL LOSS?
 A car is usually a total loss only when the price of repairs exceeds a high percentage of the insurance company's determined value of your vehicle. Nowadays, most cars are built using unibody construction (frame and body as one). Our experienced, certified technicians, utilizing our state-of the-art equipment, can return your vehicle to its pre-accident condition. If a frame section is bent beyond repair, that section can simply be replaced.

3. CAN YOU MATCH THE PAINT COLOR?
Today's modern factory finishes incorporate multiple layers of highly specialized paints. Shalom Auto & Body has made a major investment in the finest paint system available and constantly upgrades its technology and equipment to ensure that each vehicle's paint matches. We take special pride in our ability to match factory finishes as the final step in the restoration process.

4. IS THERE A WARRANTY ON THE REPAIRS TO MY VEHICLE?
Yes. Shalom guarantees body repair and paint repair as long as you own your vehicle. All mechanical parts are given the manufacturer's warranty only.

5. WILL THE PARTS BE ORDERED BEFORE I DROP OFF MY VEHICLE FOR REPAIR?
Yes. We generally order your vehicle's parts at the time that we write the estimate and schedule your vehicle for drop-off a couple of days later unless your vehicle is found unsafe to drive, and then we would help you arrange for a rental vehicle as soon as possible. This enables us to provide quicker turn around time.

6. WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept all major credit cards. We also accept bank certified checks, cash, and zelle.

7. DO I HAVE TO PAY A DEDUCTIBLE?
The amount of deductible that you will be responsible for is determined by your insurance policy. If you aren't sure about your deductible, you can call your agent and he can tell you whether your insurance company has waived your deductible or whether you will be responsible to pay this when you pick up your vehicle.

8. WHO DO I PAY MY DEDUCTIBLE TO?
If your deductible is not waived, it will be your responsibility to pay Shalom when you pick up your vehicle.
